[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I've never tried the aleve, but the maximum strength (1000 mg of acetominophen) works great. There's just been so much craziness about taking too much acetominophen, I just thought that maybe the aleve would be better.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Take the acetaminophen, then, but if possible, don't take any more today (or at least for 6-8 hours).

thanks! I managed to find some pseudoephedrine, so I'm taking that with 1000 mg of acetominophen (basically what I'd get in the maximum strength cold pill), so I'm good for now, I think.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I hope that combo works on your headache, Vortex.

Well, mixed results on my errands. I did find a couple of little items to round out my Secret Santa gift, but there was a line of cars waiting to get into the PO parking lot. Uh, no. I'll just have to try again. Maybe I'll leave work a bit early?

Uggh. Have lost momentum. Must get back to work.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

smonster - if you can get your gifts into one of those pre-paid boxes, you can pay for and print the postage out at home and have your regular postal guy pick it up at your house. Or, I imagine you have scales at work that you can weigh a non-USPA box on and do the same pay and print with the postage and avoid the PO altogether.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

In All Aimee All th Time News, I am trying hard not to panic/fall into the deep pit of despair and depression. Through a slip of someone else's tongue, I found out that my uncle who we rent from was/is (not sure which) in danger of having his house (not the one we rent) forclosed on. Really, his only option if that were to happen would be to reclaim our house. We don't have a lease (I know, I know.) so we have no leg to stand on as far as rights to the house. We really have no proof that we pay rent, other than to show twice monthly withdrawls from our bank account as he will only accept cash since he's not claiming the income. I was going to talk to him about lowering our rent but now I'm afraid to, even though I will anyway. But if he does get foreclosed on and we do have to move, it will probably be into an apartment which we do not want and I'm getting more and more depressed as I think about it and look for places to rent. I hate having to rely on other people's homeownership for our living, but that isn't going to change anytime soon and I'm feeling like Total Adult Fail.

Blah blah blah.

Joe says, (rightly so) that there's nothing to worry about until there's something worry about and that I'm totally borrowing trouble, which I totally am. But I'm trying hard not to, really I am!!

Aims, thanks for the tips. I always forget that I can print out postage now.

As for your living situation, I hope the worry turns out to be for nothing. And should it be for something, I hope you can find a lovely place to rent that suits y'all.

Right-o. Work.

I can't wait 'til Matt gets on a plane. This is way to crazy to be safe.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

But I'm trying hard not to, really I am!!

{{Aims}} I know you have work to do and what not, but if you can find a little time to go ahead and let yourself worry and let your brain run through all the scenarios it wants to panic about so they aren't rattling around inside your skull, maybe you can put that behind you until there's something to be done. And if that's what you just did by posting, good for you.

Regardless of that, no part of the situation is a failure on your part.

I'm feeling like Total Adult Fail.

how is this your fail? He's the one who hasn't paid the mortgage on his other house. You worked out a situation that is good for you. The only thing that is a little sticky here is the rent issue, but that's hardly your fault when you're dealing with family.
