I like money better than people. People can so rarely be exchanged for goods and/or services!

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good idea, Anne. It definitely sounds like you passed out in the bathroom and banged yourself falling down.

Happy birthday, Chi!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

There was no one else at Urgent Care this a.m., so everything went very quickly.

I am pleased to report that there is no concussion, and no sign of any breakage in my poor wee skull. The doctor does think that I passed out and then hit my head, so I will definitely be following up with my PCP regarding that passing out thing. My woozy spells have never led to actual passing out before, but getting up suddenly out of bed while in the aftermath of one might have caused a nice drop in blood pressure.

Ice and Tylenol for me today.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Anne, I'm relieved that you got checked out. Yay for no concussion.

TCG is on antibiotics for a tooth abscess, and he woke up today with his handsome face all swollen. Thank goodness for dentists on call. He is getting a new antibiotic today, which will hopefully help until he can see someone on Monday.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad you haven't broken anything, Anne! May it be something simple and easily remedied.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHIKAT!!!!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Quick check with Michiganistas: Houghton, Michigan seems like a place where I would not be happy. Am I reasonably correct in this impression?

What Calli said. It's very snowy, but really gorgeous.
