Insent!
Got it. I'll get it out to you on Monday.
ETA - do either you or TCG like ginger?
TCG likes it, and I like it in small doses.
'Dirty Girls'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, Nicole, I hope things get better for your guys!
My hands are already like sandpaper with the frequent handwashing and winter cold/artificial heat. Doesn't seem to matter what kind of lotion I use.
I swear by Mary Kay's Extra Emollient Night Cream. It's a lifesaver for my winter dry skin.
Thanks for the lotion recs Andi and Cashmere. I'm willing to try anything at this point.
I'm reading through the old vegetarian cookbook -- this is the 1914 edition of a cookbook originally published in 1910. So far, I've had to look up two things, both of which turned out to be early meat substitutes that are still made: Nuttolene [link] and Protose [link] .
Happy Boxing day!
Note to self:
Parking my car in the deep, wet snow on Thursday night, leaving it in the rain and snow, and then letting it all freeze solid is not unlike parking it in wet cement and walking away.
That's a beautiful doll, Jilli.
Happy Boxing Day! Please make sure to wear proper sized head guards, well padded gloves, and a fitted mouth guard. We don't want any injuries when returning gifts at the mall.
This cookbook also uses one of my favorite old-cookbook styles -- cook something with tomatoes, and you can call it Mexican. Cook it with tomatoes and onions, and it's Spanish.
Also, spaghetti recipes that say to boil it for 30 minutes.
Cook it with spinach and it's Florentine!
Cook it with avocado and it's Californian!
"Lentils, Oriental Style" is just plain boiled lentils and rice with some fried onion.
