My sister is trying to convince me to go with her to an un-Christmas party tomorrow night. I'll probably know about three people there. Really don't feel like going.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
think xmas is cancelled.
i29 travel is NOT looking safe today, tonight, or tomorrow.
think xmas is cancelled.
Yay?
I love starting the day reading a Ryan story!
I must now pay for everything I didn't get done yesterday by getting too much done today!
Finally sent off an email that was a couple of weeks overdue. Here's hoping it doesn't blow up in my face, at least not before the holidays.
Now to figure out what else I need to accomplish today. I think dishes need to be on that list, or they may become sentient before I return on Monday.
Oh, and in about 40 minutes KBD is interviewing for a job (only his second interview since he got laid off) and some ~ma would be highly appreciated.
Interview~ma for KBD.
I have fresh, warm Italian bread. The whole grocery store smelled sooooooo good, having this stuff set out at several spots around the aisles.
I can say with some confidence that i have no idea why anyone would take vicodin or oxycodone recreationally.
Because...everyone's body is different, and everyone reacts to the same drug differently? Sort of an extension of Jesse's "different people like different shit" philosophy.
Vicodin, percocet, and especially morphine give me great big floaty bliss, which many Buffistas can attest to, since I called them while strung out on it. (For pain, not recreationally. Although I can *totally* see how people get hooked on it recreationally.)
Doesn't do it for you, does do it for me. Different bodies do different shit.
Vicodin makes me nauseated and sleepy. Ultram, however, BLISS. I could totally abuse that.
I once floated through a blissful week on codeine. I'm on vicodin now (muscle spasms in back), and if it's helping, I don't want to know what the pain would be like without it.
Codeine makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and then I fall asleep for a long long time. I love it.
Xanax also makes me sleepy, but makes me depressed, so eff that. One weekend a while back I accidently took 2 Xanax instead of my AD, and slept 20 hrs/24. Freaked me out until I figured out what I'd done.
Sucess! Joy! I managed to get a full night's sleep! It took a total of 14 hours, 1 12-hr oxycodone, 3 naprosyn, and a vicodin near the end but i got a solid 4 hours, then 3, then 2. I feel SOOOOOOO much better today, actually human. My face even looks human again (it was grayish/green yesterday). I might try the ambian tomorrow night and see if that eliminates the waking every 4 hours and need to re-dose on anti inflammatory...i'd rather not take the highly addictive narcotics if there are other options.
Interesting, tho, the oxy totally does knock out the "inner" pain: bone, muscles, tendons, ligaments...all that was quiet all night. I can totally feel it coming back now that the oxy has worn off. It did not, however, touch the nervy skin-level discomfort that flares up after i've been horizontal for a bit. Ice helps with that. Too bad i can't sleep with time-release ice Packs strapped to me!
