I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm gonna deny every last relation to Shane's pic here bringing this up, but...

In the past two-three weeks in uni? Guys are paying attention to me. More importantly, I'm paying attention that they're paying attention to me, in a very new way for yours truly.

I'm not sure what's going on with all of that, and I don't want anything with either of the several guys who are suddenly very alerted about something I'm vibing (could be something in the air, for all I know), but for now I managed turned two "I'm way too cool to read the damn articles, paying attention and participate in the classes" into pretty active students. One of them thanking me regularly now, in the end of every class for making the class interesting for him. They just know that this is the best way possible to communicate with me, I guess.

And? It's nice, knowing I can work up people like this (after the first few minutes of the "hey, he's looking at me weird. Did I spill something on myself earlier? Am I sweating more than usual? Something on my face? My hair, it's gotta be the hair, right?". But where's the control mechanism, God dammit?

Everything people told me that happens, and usually a lot earlier, actually happens to me now. How would have thought. I was thinking it was all a myth, or something that happens to other people.

That, or that there's a really juicy rumor about me in the halls right now.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

So alert and astonished by it all! Welcome, sweet boy! You have no idea how long your mamas have been waiting for you and how much they had to go through to bring you forth.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Shane is BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely adorable already, that one.

Don't look at me. I'm browsing Etsy for new lipstick and pink eyeshadows. Which I probably don't really need, but the idea of hand-made organic black lipstick is awfully tempting.

I bought eyeshadow (purple and gold), lipstick (blackberry - not what I hoped but it was cheap), lip gloss (sheer glitter) and nail polish (iridescent blue/purple) at CVS yesterday. Combination of coupons and sales got me $9 off the total. I actually just went in for a nail polish correcter pen.

he's looking at my weird

This typo actually applies to me. Heh.

Shir, I can hear the pride in your voice around being able to energize your students. That's so cool. But are you enjoying the attention...or finding it suspect?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

lipstick (blackberry - not what I hoped but it was cheap),

What brand, and what color did it end up being?

(I am hoping the "blackened rose" lipstick I bought from Etsy will be THE color I am looking for, thus freeing me from the unnerving knowlege that my current lipstick of choice is named "homegirl".)

That's my usual typo: replacing "me" and "my". Oops!

Both is an acceptable answer, right? But I don't think "suspect" is the right word. "Weird" applies better to my feeling.

Oh yeah. Me too. As are form/from, is/it, at/an. Sigh.

Weird can be lots of things and I totally get enjoying the differentness of it and going 'hmmm.'

Always Anti-fascist!

Congrats to GC and wife. Mom just has a lumpy incision which is going to feel weird and swell sometimes. Which is weird, but at the same time, nothing to worry about.
