Hubby and I both have drug cases for morning and for evening. We'll sit on the bed and fill our cases together. Just another homey ritual. Joy.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Of course it's easy to recognize the game and shout advice from the sidelines. When it was me & my sister I couldn't take it and walked off the field.
It is hypothyroidism, and they have called in a prescription for the synthetic thyroid.
Tons and tons of people take that, and it is going to make him feel so much better. The thing with cholesterol meds is that there's no appreciable effect -- like, if it brings your cholesterol level down, you don't suddenly get a spring in your step and a perfect singing voice. It's invisible, you know? Same with blood pressure meds.
But getting your thyroid levels adjusted does actually have an appreciable physical effect, and so maybe seeing actual results will make him feel better about needing to take them.
And I think the thyroid can actually affect the vocal cords, so he may very well now have a perfect singing voice.
Which is WAY better than those silly cholesterol meds can do.

He will be AMAZED at how much better you feel after a few weeks of having your thyroid levels be where they are supposed to be. It was like a HUGE light going off when I gained my energy and appetite and palor and everything back.
ION - we have acheived a tree. Holding onto our tradition of not getting it until the week of Christmas despite our best efforts to get it earlier.
Surgery time has moved to 3 PM. Argh.

Hang in there, baby Shane!
How frustrating, GC. You must be so nervous and excited. Tons of ~ma headed your way.
Thanks, Aims! Of course I am reading all of the symptoms of which I have quite a few, but my doctor always tells me that my bloodwork is fine.
Shane! Come out!
