Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ladyhawke's popular in Britain? That's nice. Have you heard the Pnau song Embrace? She does the vocals for it.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Ladyhawke's popular in Britain?

She's known. She played an awesome gig in Leeds while I was living there. Very good live.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm skipping.

The con was fantastic. Besides being and hanging out with friends, I learned Lacanian psychoanalysis 1x01 and Nietzschean philosophy in sci-fi, what to take and not to take when you're getting deserted a-la Crusoe (what not to take, item #1: Jerusalem. Item #2: talkbackers), how feminism ended/saved the human race on various sci-fi novels and the role of feminists in them, the ecology of the alien in Alien and why it's so great, and how to avoid being assassinated in the future (never develop an eternal life drug. Check). These were just the highlights.

And now, back to homework. Sigh.

Edit: ~mas if you need it. Ditto {{}}

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Seska, safe-getting-around-ma to you. I hate the extra stress an icy day brings. It doesn't look like it is going to get above freezing here for at least a week.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

vicodin contains acetaminophen

I thought the FDA made them take it out, or was that Percocet? (Because people who didn't realize they were getting a double dose were showing up in hospitals with liver problems.)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

vicodin contains acetaminophen

I thought the FDA made them take it out, or was that Percocet? (Because people who didn't realize they were getting a double dose were showing up in hospitals with liver problems.)

They decided to leave it in, but put a more emphatic warning (about acetaminophen) on the product information.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you guys so much for the suggestions! I really do adore Suzy. And it makes me sad that her mom is kind of loopy about giving her the Ritalin because when she's on it, she's a totally different kid.

Librarian Warlord

Aims, you almost had me fooled with that picture of "Em," but I'm certain that is a picture of you and you're hiding the baby on us!

We are supposed to get snow tonight/tomorrow, and the map seems to think it will be between 7-14 inches. DC will be paralyzed tomorrow, but my dog will be in heaven.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

FTR: I have no idea what's this ice and snow you're speaking of.

The coldest it got here was 8 C, and I was complaining about that. So.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Watching any of that with Nephlet leads to many Important Conversations about Women and Family and Car Care.

Hee. I don't suppose there's a link to the sexy dancing?
