Because when I hear someone use "gay" to describe anything other than a gay person
How about if it were used in reference to a bar, quite possibly by Electric Six?
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'd like to state my firm opinion that rumba sleeves may qualify as gay in the old-fashioned sense of the word.
G'morning, all.
Today we have 'Wake Up With Both Fry and Laurie'. This is because Hugh isn't in this sketch much, but it's one of my favourites. [link]
Oh, dear. The Nigella cookbook had a link to this British import stuff. I want everything!
Heh. It's like when someone here linked to a site with American food. (I still need to buy extreme amounts of mac & cheese from that site.) I recommend Yorkshire Gold tea!
My crazy friends, my crazy life--wouldn't have it any other way.
Is true.
I am headed back to the hospital this morning - sometimes it feels like I spend my entire life in the outpatients dept - for a blood test. Then much, much more dissertation writing.
Seska, I love Yorkshire Gold, but I already have sources for that here.
First, Happy Birthday to Hil!
I'll have to try Yorkshire Gold. The amount of coffee I am drinking is crazy. To cut down on coffee I decided to only drink regular coffee at the office and brought my stash there. But I still had a bag of espresso at home so I ended up indulging in a full 4 cup pot of that daily when I get up since it is about 2-3 hours before I even get to the office. This is now a habit. Then I down at least half of the 12 cup pot of regular coffee unless my cohort decides we need another pot. So yeah, maybe I could switch to tea at home. I do enjoy it and drink it when I visit the parents, but have lost the habit at home.
And I ramble. Ah, blessed caffeine.
Ah, blessed caffeine.
The only reason I'm ever awake at all: my chain-tea-drinking habit.
Thanks, Laura!
I just opened my presents. I got "Stitches" by David Small from my aunt, and Beatles Rock Band from my parents!
Is sleeplessness a symptom of nicotine withdrawl???

Wrod. I am enjoying my morning cuppa now.
I love the word "crazy," too. And I love my crazy family, crazy friends, and crazy life. Mostly.
Sounds like cool presents, Hil. Is the book one you've been wanting?
