ugh Erin. You shouldn't have had to pay for that.
'Time Bomb'
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Seems my mom got herself a Kindle. Now, she doesn't have a modern computer, or net access. But the kindle downloads without. But is there a way to send her Project Gutenburg plain text type books? Can you plug in a thumb drive and transfer stuff?
I'm now up again with Frisco who coughed himself awake.
While I was falling asleep earlier I remebered that I forgot to add (just to complicate things) that in the Army, there is such a thing as a troop. It's a unit similar in size to a company but in the Cavalry and certain other organizations, a company is called a troop.
Frisco is currently pointing out all the ornament sthat he knows the names of. Plane! Bike! Star! It's cute but I wish he would go to sleep.
No night shift anymore?
No night shift anymore?
There's an early-morning-across-the-pond shift, if that helps.
Cereal...
Threats of legal action and advice from the EHRC - apparently this works. Having said two days ago that there were to be no further negotiations over this, El Al called us just now. We're three rows back from the entrance to the plane and three rows ahead of the toilet.
We're sitting here going HUH?
Edit: This means we won. Everyone I tell about this is getting confused. So to clarify, we won.
Yay, Seska! I'm glad the EHRC was able to get some good results for you.
Smonster, I really like the hair!
Stephanie, I'm glad you were able to offer the two women a nice dinner with someone who they could talk to.
Trudy, if they're smoking during sex, they need more lube. If you're smelling fresh smoke, I would imagine they're in the post-activity relaxation period, and you could knock on the door and say, "Smoke, wtf?" without learning more than you wanted about their preferred position(s).
Thus endeth the meara-nation. (Although, not the Meara Nation, because that would be nifty and, if the US fragments, should be considered for whatever the Pac. NW turns into.)
Stepheanie, I hope Frisco relaxed and went back to sleep, at some point. That wasn't five minutes before you have to wake him up for your daily routine. And I hope he gets over his cough soon, if it isn't more than a passing throat tickle.
Yay, Seska, for winning over El Al!
Also, Trudy, I think Calli might have a good idea there.
Dylan slept in his big-boy-bed last night. I got a little sniffly.
(It went suspiciously well. He didn't make any kind of fuss about getting in bed to read stories, and after we were done I tucked him in with a book and left*. I came back in 5 minutes later to turn out the lights, and then he went to sleep and woke up at a normal time this morning in a great mood. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I'm terrified the other shoe is about to drop somehow!)
*He likes to "read" to himself in bed at night. Not that he can read words yet, but he's got most of his favorite books memorized and can recite them and turn the pages. It is exactly as adorable as it sounds.
Seska, yay!
trudy: just bust in with a fire extinguisher next time you smell it, all freaked out, and scream something about calling 911 for the smoke. maybe spray down the smokey gf if need be.
I like this option.
Aww, I remember Brendon pretending to read his memorized books. Verra cute.
There was more, but I have to do actual work this morning.
