Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

Didn't lisah say that there's a late-night grilled-cheese cart in Baltimore? That, too, is pretty dang nifty.

Oh, the beautiful lost days of the grilled cheese cart. It existed for a few glorious weekends and then, thanks Baltimore, the cart was stolen.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It sounds like you got two suggestions, though--iron lamp or new sheets--won't either of those do?

Sheets are out, pretty much. I might be able to score a used wrought iron lamp somewhere, but there would be a fair amount of legwork involved.

Oh, the Target suggestion was a good one. [link] No idea of the quality, though. Any thoughts on cotton/poly sheets?

I always get the "All I want is your" answer on the Christmas gift thing. Which is sweet but frustrating. Because he really doesn't mind if he doesn't get anything. Of course, we tend to buy each other surprise presents all the time, anyway.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

He's into: sci fi tv, comic books (does not read actual books), messing about with his phone, angel mythology, the Army, cooking but not fancy cooking, Happy Cola gummies...

Dr. Who? Sonic Screwdriver if he doesn't have one.

There's always the Awesome Stocking approach... a combination of the various "little" things he likes. A toy, a comic, some angel thing, some killer hot sauce, and Happy Cola gummies...

If you've got a Tuesday Morning around you, you can often get insanely nice sheets for pretty cheap.

Doesn't like Dr. Who. Working on that.

Hmm, I do know where there is one. Might have to give that a try.
