It sounds like you got two suggestions, though--iron lamp or new sheets--won't either of those do?
Sheets are out, pretty much. I might be able to score a used wrought iron lamp somewhere, but there would be a fair amount of legwork involved.
Oh, the Target suggestion was a good one. [link] No idea of the quality, though. Any thoughts on cotton/poly sheets?
I always get the "All I want is your" answer on the Christmas gift thing. Which is sweet but frustrating. Because he really doesn't mind if he doesn't get anything. Of course, we tend to buy each other surprise presents all the time, anyway.
