All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Right? I don't know what to do. We always have issues with this branch of the family. They are just clueless. My parents aren't even really interested in hanging with them (this is my Dad's sister - he is one of 7 siblings). I mean, they are here for me and the baby. This sucks. I already tried by saying they should make a plan with my parents and if I'm up for it, I'll join. Then she comes back with this bringing food to me. I think I need to just shut that down. If I'm not feeling well, I don't want a house full of people.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

For all the sling lovin' ladies (and men): [link]

Bwahaha! Excellent.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Slings weren't really that Big when I had Em. If (God willing although I'm getting to the point where I'm gonna start begging for surrogate volunteers) we have another baby, I'm totally getting a sling.

Aims, you sew, right? Because according to my neighbor, slings are dead easy to make (and you can custom-fit them to your height, which is the tricky part of buying in a store).

Always Anti-fascist!

Somebody did that to one of my mom's inlaws once...she wasn't pregnant, but she is the sort of person who lets people encroach on her non-stop. But I thought surely demanding she throw a party was, like too much. In my supported apartment, I was late to a meeting(probably something like at Aims' job) and the other people at the meeting let themselves in my place...I felt totally invaded and flipped out like a mammal.(they had cover, though, the old "We were SO worried..." bit.) But, suffice to say, even in some AU where I am the hostess with the mostest, nobody is *telling* me to host twenty people in my house.

Trust my rage

They are sort of addictive too. At least they were for me. But you can also buy them used pretty easily (thebabywearer.com is my favorite). I should add that part of the addiction was the Frisco did not want to be put down - at all - from 2-6 months and PR was really hot, so I was in search of the perfect, comfortable, not too hot, Frisco-approved, babywearing device.

You will pry my Ergo from my cold dead hands, but a sling or wrap is nice for the first few months. (Especially for winter babies, since you can wrap them right up against your body and then wear a maternity coat over both of you.)

Okay, I wrote back with this:

I think it's best if you guys make a plan and I join in if I'm up to it. If you want to do breakfast on Sunday, you could come out this way and do Solley's or Stanley's. That would make it easy for my parents (and us if I'm up for it) as they are local.

That's not assy, right?
