Thanks y'all. Just got off the phone with my cousin, and I think that was the worst of it. That side of my family is pretty dysfunctional. Hearing M tell me that he's trying to hold my grandmother together and dealing with his step-dad while coping his ownself with the loss of his mom (he doesn't speak to his father), just heartbreaking.

I was so worried about Owen melting down over his flu vaccine clinic at school that I rushed over there from dropping Liv off at preschool. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he had already received his vaccine (nasal spray) and didn't freak out too much for the staff.
I took some Hanukkah themed cupcakes into Liv's classroom this morning. They're white cake with light blue frosting and some sugar sparkles on them. Super cute. I hope they're some left over when I pick up so I can try one.
