I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I skippity-skipped, too. Did Nora say how today went?

Interview~ma, Seska.

Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate!

P.S. That reminds me, I'll have to see if I can find the Mennorah decorations at the group home. We have one resident who is Jewish, and while her family don't expect us to have even a tiny clue, they seem to appreciate it when we try.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

So, I woke up today to find that my aunt died last night. She was my mother's younger sister and had been in the hospital the last few weeks in critical care.

It just feels out of the blue and like she was way too young.

My poor cousin who works the boats in the gulf is a mess.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Daisy Jane. Much punctuation and ~Ma to you and your whole family.

Thanks. I'm trying to take a little time before heading in to work. I have a meeting at 10. I'm trying to make sure that I get whatever reaction I'm going to have now so that I don't lose it randomly at work.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm sorry, Daisy.

You'd probably like the Tarina Tarantino "My Pretty" line. Expensive, but really lovely [link]
