Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

'Shindig'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ray Bradbury saw and enjoyed the "Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury" video. Picture of RB watching the Youtube.

Frank Rich on the Islamic cultural center controversy [link] It confirms what I suspected, that it was a complete non-issue until flogged by Fox.

So? Is that Ray Bradbury *enjoying* the video? Flabbergasted by the video? Can't tell from one picture.

Witnesses saying enjoying the video. He wrote to her saying he liked it. I'm suspicious about hand placement but pretty sure he would not enjoy himself that much in public.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Zen - if he's not up to date on his rabies and is likely to keep going outside, get that updated. And be prepared to get advantage (or other flea treatment) if you start seeing a lot of scratching or "flea dirt" (teeny dots of dried blood - flea poop). Other than that IDK, my guys are indoor so i tend to scrimp on flea treatment and rabies vaccines.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, erin. I'm taking extra steps - everything short of wrapping the house in Teflon - to make sure the little Houdini doesn't get outside again, but realistically, until I get the money to get the porch screened in, he might. So, yeah, I think a quick trip to the vet is in order.

No fleas, fortunately.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

At the grocery store today, and old lady complimented me on being frugal when she noticed me pick up a can of Del Monte tomatoes, put it down, and then pick up a can of store-brand tomatoes and put that one in my cart. It was a bit weird.

People are just totally weird. I mean, I am hugely frugal in a lot of ways. But sometimes one can of tomatoes is not another can of tomatoes. And sometimes it is. Freaks me out that people make very visual judgments. My judgmental-ism is invisible, dude.

I love it when i sneeze and my little cat mews from wherever he is in the house, then comes running to check me over with his big scared eyes and make sure i'm ok. I have no idea where his concern comes from, the older cat doesn't even twitch his ears when i sneeze, but Mal always needs to make sure i am still here.

N'aw. Cute, Mal. Puppycat worries about the weirdest stuff. But she's ... just kinda dumb. Still she's a good spider detector when she's assed to notice.

So, yeah, I think a quick trip to the vet is in order.

Ask what might be in order now that the cat got out. Or, I would. I do trust my vet not to try and scam me. Some vax are needed when there is outside access.

I will update later.

And oh, I'll never forgive you discussing vibrators in my absence. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to comment, dammit!
