I can beat up demons until the cows come home, and then I can beat up the cows.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Still not funny for me, but again, we just lost our cat that way.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I know, DJ. I'm really sorry.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Still not funny for me, but again, we just lost our cat that way.

That's awful. I'm sorry.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

We are arranging our office so that it is more conducive to it being a guest room... BECAUSE SMONSTER'S COMING TO TOWN NEXT WEEK YAY!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

What brenda said. smonster was in my dream the other night. We were meeting at the airport and then we were supposed to pick up my roommate D from a party but we saw the airport had a disco so we decided to stay and dance.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm sure there are at least some reasons it works that way, but it's not very transparent for the patient, so it can often seem like "whenever we get around to it."

I think a large part of it is that patients who are ready to be released are (almost always) by definition the healthiest in the hospital, and therefore a pretty low priority unless the hospital is short on rooms.

Our wings are not tired

I am so glad Drew is going to get out today. We thought he would be out this morning maybe, but ah well.

If the GI doctor ever comes to see me. I'm waiting for them to release me and no sign of them yet.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Eeeeee! I need to call you and hash out details, but not tonight.

but we saw the airport had a disco so we decided to stay and dance.

...yeah, that's plausible.

May you be released soon, ND.
