Book: I believe I just... I think I'm on the wrong ship. Inara: Maybe. Or maybe you're exactly where you ought to be.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

In Australia, the terms are often used interchangeably these days. I can send you my resume if you wish. It doesn't include my current job, being the resume I used to land said current job.

To make up for my link before: a mostly photographed post (the non-photographed part is in Hebrew) on some very cute creatures on South Georgia Island, who turned an abandoned ship into a gymboree. [link]

I'm pretty good, bit of a cold. Wallybee rocks. Ryan is completely awesome, and I discovered this morning that he understands "Where are the penguins?" in Chinese. My son!

Nice pics. I was hoping for ducks too. (SGI is home to the world's only carnivorous duck, the South Georgia pintail.)

This is truly something to celebrate. I don't know how to say this in Chinese!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Awww, Ryan!

Yes, thank you! So thoughtful of you. It made our day.

(BTW, pix & ND? Mom says that the puppy is very cute.)

YAY! She is amazingly cute. I'll be glad when she grows out of the nippy stage, though.

I've been meaning to comment on everything for a couple of days, and I'm sure I'm going to miss something, so bear with me.

sj, that place looks amazing for your wedding! Billytea, much love and support to Wallybee and her other family. Ginger, that's horrific. Fuck cancer and much love to you and yours. Also much love to Laura and DH on the loss of his mother. P-C, I'm sorry to hear about your brother's situation, though I agree it's nsm surprising as just plain upsetting.

And in general, much love to my blinvisible family for being awesome.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Can't say it better than the sexy teacher lady, so I'll just nod and point. Wish I had morebetter words.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I discovered this morning that he understands "Where are the penguins?" in Chinese. My son!

It's probably the sentence he's heard most often, along with "Where are the echidnas" and "Who's a little naked mole rat?"

I am awake because Mr Peabody decided he had an urgent need to dig a hole in the midst of the cucumbers at 4 a.m. At this point, I think trying to drag him out of there would do more harm than good. He's digging one of his straight-to-China holes, as big around as his head and more than a foot deep so far. I hope he dispatches that vole or chipmunk soon and the cucumbers survive.
