Buckle up, kids! Daddy's puttin' the hammer down.

Spike ,'Touched'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

justlikebuffistasbutforyourmom.org is available.

My mom has a log-in.

But she respects Bitches as my space and only comes in here with an invite. Then flees.

I think it's sweet.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

OK, we'll prepare the guest room accordingly! Um, I mentioned that it was an air mattress, right? But a nice one!

Y'all are total dolls for hosting me! Air mattresses are dandy. I'm so excited to see you and Tom (Have I met Tom? I don't think I have! But maybe? I'm easily confused and forgetful!) and get to know the IC a bit better. I need to take a look at transport options and get in touch with Mack and Smitty. Have to see Mack and Smitty.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

ita, my dream last night had you in it. You were infiltrating a bad guy compound by pretending to be a famous singer. I was one of your roadies and almost got caught skulking, but you rescued me right before you went on. I woke up, but I'm assuming you were amazing.

We're growing tomatoes, cucumbers, and a pepper plant in the back yard. I can't remember if I mentioned that. We've eaten one cucumber and lots of tomatoes. The other cukes are slow, and the pepper has only one little one on it and it just sits there, but the kids are loving the plants. Aidan keeps saying, "we're GROWing our FOOD mommy!" like it's some amazing thing heretofore unknown, and Kara actually wants to water and pick.

smonster, I thought what Vortex did about your resume. Words on paper, cannot! I'm glad you've got lookers. I would volunteer, but I haven't written one in years.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yay, Mack and Smitty. I have actually not been to see them, which is terrible! But it's been a bit of a crazy time. I tried getting in touch with Mack through the internetz but I never heard anything back from him.

I still need to take Tom to the L9, maybe we can take a drive out there together on the Sunday after you arrive.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh my, Ginger. So much ~ma headed to your family.

The immediate tears anytime G hears the word "no" are starting to have very little effect on me.

Ha! My favorite moment with my nephew was driving by a MacDonalds and him throwing a crying tantrum for fries. I looked at him calmly and said, "that doesn't work with me." He stopped instantly and never tried it again.

My sister and I visited with the 4 surviving daughters of my mom's friend tonight. We all grew up together and our comfort with each other isn't affected by the time between visits. The eldest of 5 daughters was my age and passed earlier this year. The youngest has down syndrome and although she will be 50 in October she is still a child to us. They all still live here in this tiny town as does my sister.

N is truly blessed to have her sisters to care for her and such a simplistic understanding of what has happened. She understands and accepts that her mom missed her big sister and her dad and she had to go visit them. Her sisters will take their time getting rid of things and the house to be sure N doesn't have too quick a transition. Families can be awesome.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Families can be awesome.

Some of them really are. Even if you have to build 'em yourself from blinvisible friends.
