Big stop just to renew your license to companion. Can I use companion as a verb?

Wash ,'Ariel'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{{{{Teppy}}}}} You have EARNED your tired and whiny. Feel free to vent here all you need to.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

And wow, I feel like a double jackass for posting all my angst right after sj's post about her wedding, because that is seriously awesome and deserves people squeeing over it, which I actually *am* doing, just in parallel with the angst. Gah.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

You've had a helluva week, amyth. I hope your lap heals soon.

Teppy, it's okay to cry. You've had a shitload of stuff happen. It would stress out anyone. Yeah, you want to be there for Tim, but you're human. The fact that you realize that and have tried so hard to bear up is the best you can do. I hope the snakes dropping down from the ceiling turn out to be loads of cash so you can afford to have the AC fixed.

Congrats on settling on a place, sj!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

sj, that place looks lovely and perfect! yay!!!

Please don't! It's how things work here; we all know that.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

It's something that has freaked me out from time to time (particularly once, and here, when I ragged on a Chick tract in an overly emphatic way that called into question Chick's inspiration [implying it was diabolical]).

I get that way about a statement I have been making occasionally. In reference to the rigid, fundamentalist Christian doctrines and attitudes that I once espoused and now reject, I say "God does not work that way. And if He does, I want nothing to do with him." Because I know darned well that while a conservative-style God could cheerfully forgive a liberal for being mistaken, God won't sit still for us puny humans judging Him and His ways.

sure it's legal but it's disrespectful so it shouldn't be allowed.

So what's this guy's plan to take care of the numbnuts who cat-called me while I was out for a walk on Saturday morning?

We're getting married here sometime in mid-November!
It's gorgeous and perfect!

Aw, Teppy. Peace and handling things ~ma to you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Congratulations, sj!

I'm sorry, Tep. Big crises seem to fracture everything around them and Everyday Shit becomes a Shitpocalypse.

And then you wistfully look back on those days when you were occasionally bored, thinking, "Man, I could use a couple weeks of boring right now."
