Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Scrappy Day!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

what if you tip the 2nd stringers? Say you are staying Friday through Monday. Say the weekend is different maid staff. Then you are leaving a tip for someone who has been off all weekend.

t confused with tipping (because that tag isn't closing anytime soon)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's why I tip at hotels every day, instead of waiting until I'm checking out. It isn't always the same people cleaning the room. Also, if they like me, they're less likely to, say, wash my drinking glasses in the toilet.

Grrr, I'm on hold to talk to someone. I wonder if there is anyone on the other end at all? Or am I on hold until Monday!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Even tipping for maid service is problematical . We stay at B&B's which do have maids, but I see the owners do a lot fo the work to. So it isn't as straight forward as a hotel .

and I tip well at restaurants, but I hate figuring the rest of it out. Mostly because I'm with Vortex and PC. I think jobs should be paid, not dependent on whim .

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I tip housekeepers in hotels but I wouldn't tip in a B&B.

I used to tip the pizza guy 20% until one of them told me I was tipping way too much so now I always give him $5.

I give the carryout person a couple bucks.

I leave $1 per person on the table at a buffet.

I bring the lawn guys ice water.

Thrive to spite them

YAY Nora! The job sounds awesome!

I have a new stove and I'm so excited, tomorrow I'm going to start cooking.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I tend not to tip carryout or walk up places unless they`re the kind where you order at the counter but they bring you your food, top off your drinks, bus your table. And I tend not to tip baristas, which is probably not fair to the barista, but I am paying so much for that coffee already!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Also because they tend to have snarky sayings on the tip jar.

I give the barista a buck. I figure if I'm paying that much for coffee already, what's a buck? I don't go to coffee houses very often.
