Dawn: I feel safe with you. Spike: Take that back!

'First Date'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

odd little question. anyone want to help me hyperventilate my way through a statement of academic purpose? and possibly the GREs (again? because they didn't suck enough 15 years ago?)?

OK, completely random note; I've always realized that models look larger in pictures than in real life, and yes, that's part of why models tend to be size zero and look awful IRL, etc etc (though yes, often these days that means they're too skinny in the pictures too, etc).

So, this weekend I was at the beach with the new girlfling, and met some of her friends, including a bunch of gay boys, and one girl, who I was told is a plus size model, who had recently done some awesome spread or something. I was like "OK, cool", whatev'...girl was v. pretty and had gorgeous lips, and I was kinda like "Damn, she's only a tad bigger than me, but no stretch marks and shaped a lot nicer...".

And then I randomly come across a link today and am like "Wait, isn't that her name?" and yes, she's apparently quite famous, and damn, is she smaller than those pictures look. Cause I"ve seen her in a bathing suit.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

statement of academic purpose? and possibly the GREs

(Yes, silly, we will help you hyperventilate or avoid it, as you prefer.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am trying to cancel my cable in DC and order cable in PA. Comcast has an online system for this that I thought would make it easier. Really not. After entering all the information in the form, I have to go to the Live Chat thing, where I need to give all the same information again. And now I'm waiting for the representative to pull up my account, because their computer system can't find me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yeah, with Comcast I much prefer to speak to a live someone on the phone. I don't trust their online booking.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I get insane and furious getting to an agent with Comcast, but once I do, they fix stuff. Though I think I am about to murder my set top box because it loathes to record Leverage. This I cannot abide.

not your mom's socks.

2 points to Cass for using loathe and abide in the same sentence regarding Comcast.
