Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This is kind of a pain in the ass, but can you scan it as a graphic into Word, then overlay what you want (i.e. retrace the green lines thicker, put a white box over the old title, then do a text box in the new place). In fact, I could probably do it for you tomorrow.

Thanks, but it's ten files, with a bunch of different fiddly things going on. I think my best bet would probably be to just redo them -- there are a few other things that I think I can make better. I've got some time tomorrow -- I should be working on my dissertation, but I'm kind of stuck on something, and my advisor has not responded to any of my emails asking about it, and I don't really want to spend time writing something that I'll end up deleting.

Flats, sfety pins, got it. I don't do heels anyway. Do I wear a sleeveless shirt underneath the sari?

Also I understand I am supposed to cover my head at temple. I figure I really can't use something like an old baseball hat or a gardening hat.

Last time I was at a Sikh temple, most of the non-Sikh women covered their heads with scarves. I think I used a bandana, because it was kind of short notice for me and that was the only thing I could find, and it was fine.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hil, I commend you for looking for something in addition to color to differentiate lines. I like the pretty, pretty graphics, but my colorblind husband and all others of his ilk really need other cues.

Oh, I hadn't even thought of that. Now that I am thinking about it, there's something else that needs to be fixed, too.

Scrappy is wise. And color isn't always easily reproducible, so I always thought graphics supported by rules and text boxes were a best of bothworlds scenario.

Tonight's TV scheduling amuses me. Charlie Brown Christmas is on at the same time as NCIS. NCIS tonight is a repeat. You don't go against the big guns.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a sneaking suspicion NCIS was going to be a repeat anyway, unless there's another reason NCIS:LA and The Good Wife are also reruns.

Unless that was the big gun...

Charlie Brown Christmas was supposed to be on last week, but it got moved because of Obama's speech. Some Republican (not anyone nationally important) said that this was clearly a deliberate plot by Obama, the Muslim, to silence the Christian message of Charlie Brown Christmas.
