Try not to be too amazed. But I think I've actually done **ALL** my laundry, including sheets, towels, kitchen towels, guest bathroom towels, EVERYTHING! (as long as you don't count putting the clean laundry away, as it's 1:15 in the morning, and I'm too tired to stand up and hang everything in the closet. No if only this chore would remain in this state, I'd be happy. Alas, as soon as it's done, there is already dirty laundry.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Glad I didn't just hit delete! I set up the DVR in hopes that ESPN would air the Yankees game out here in CA. Sad that they were airing the TB vs Detroit game. Bug figure, eh, I'll watch it. HOLY COW! It was no hitter for BOTH pitchers through 5 innings. Then a walk, error, walk, GRAND SLAM (1st hit of the game). Wow. Then Garza goes on to complete the game with one walk, no hits! Damn near a perfect game! So glad I watched it!
I got up at 6:30 for a morning walk, but my parents still aren't up next door so I don't have a dog sitter. (rare as they are usually early birds) Brandy howls when I am not here, and Brendon doesn't seem to be adequate for her. She is fine with Mom. So I am still here waiting. More coffee I guess.
My ankle is hurting, and I can't find my TENS unit. It must be around here somewhere in this mess of boxes and stuff. Just not sure where.
It is way too early.
Good thoughts and quick-n-easy~ma to ND, Pix. May he be home and groggy in just a handful of hours (and, really, after the days weeks months he's had recently for a while for going on ever, a day of enforced grogginess and quiet at home with you and all the creatures can only do him good).
Surgery~ma, ND!
Not an ideal way to snatch a bit of down time, but I wish you minimal discomfort and a pleasant rest at home.
Gall bladder ~ma, ND. Have good drugs!
I've been up since 4:30am. I've changed the air filters, changed the cat boxes, grocery shopped, hauled the trash can out, washed dishes, and looked up four journal articles for a friend. Sounds like a lot, and yet there is much more to do before my family descends upon me this evening, for a four-day stay that I only found out about yesterday. Yay.
May the surgeons hands be steady, and the their eyes (and equipment) keen. May you recover quickly, and not push yourself faster than you should. Much ~ma, Drew.
