That's insane troll logic!

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Nice... cake.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aims, am I remembering your putative interest in Mad Men Barbies right? Jezebel is having a competition for some.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh! and my shell came! Thanks!!!!

Glad it made it! Geez, it took almost as long to get to you as it took to get across the damn ocean.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

In mememe news, the place I work seems to be circling the drain of disfunctionality. They keep making business decisions that are based on ... well, who knows. I'd say either a whim, a short-term economical basis, or just plain insanity.

About 18 months ago they decided to outsource our monthly journal, which had been the main component of my job. They kept me on to manage the website and do the "few" things left of the journal. The people who now produce the journal aren't selling ads and so it gets thinner every month. And my responsibilities for it now include writing half to two-thirds of the feature stories, getting lists of new members and such into printable format, copyediting multiple proofs, managing the mailing lists and non-standard distribution, managing subscriptions and back issue sales, and getting the content on our site.

Now they're deciding to outsource publication sales, which is one of the things we do that actually makes money. In addition, one of the most popular items, which we produce in-house, is going to go from being sold to being given to members for free.

In addition, I've been having major run-ins with some of the upper-level staff, one of which involved him lying about something that came out of a meeting and my getting in trouble for doing what had been decided on (although he later decided he didn't want it done).

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

You want I should stabbinate, Toddson? I am awful tired, so it will be a lethargic stabbination, but it will still be painful.
