That's awesome, Stephanie! I'm jealous. I loved Hawaii. There is something magical about the beaches.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hey, y'all, thanks for the baseball tutorial. Seriously. Now I could meet Olbermann and not disgrace myself. Unless I really say "Mr. Olbermann, my friends in the box told me I couldn't meet you without wanting to lick you all over...would you mind terribly, sir?" Although, if my grammar is good enough, maybe I could get by with it. Probably not Too Much Candy, though. He did go to prep school...probably they like a letter of intent before you eat candy off somebody's neck.
Hil, that's for those wacky teenagers who love the neon and LED's. Sounds like a distraction to me. But hey, what do I know, I get accused of being too practical all the time.
Stephanie, that sounds awesome. Enjoy your holiday.
In the interest of yummy, I present Bacon
Also, for you Police Academy fans, The History of the Typewriter recited by Michael Winslow” is a 21 minutes long film made by Ignacio Uriarte.
ETA: Kansas City, btw. And I AM thinking about throwing it in the F2F pot. Depends on timing for me.
If we go with the simultaneous time/place bid system you can pick the timing that is best for you.
KC = BBQ! When is it?
Oh great, NOW you want an F2F in KC! AFTER I moved away! WAHH!!!
aw man. They are talking about fresh baked cookies in Facebook, now I'm hungry for cookies, and the cupboards are bare. Dang it, I knew I should have gone food shopping tonight.
Yay Stephanie, that sounds awesome!! (both the overheard convo and Hawaii)
I'm still not sure the date and I have much in common, but since it's 1:30am and I just got home from a 7:30pm date, and we spent the last hour making out, I'd say it went well enough!
Huzzah for making out meara!
I am so not motivated to do any work today. I'm in the office by myself, I'm leaving early to visit a friend for the weekend, and the internet is right there. Sigh.
So The Girl cancelled the thing she had on last night, and took my friend & me to see Kristin Hersh. So awesome! (Both the gig, and The Girl. Who should be given some kind of sainthood. Or at least many many presents.)
Heh. It's good to learn that baseball is no easier to follow than cricket. Which most of us enjoy mainly for the picnics and the alcohol. I never have much idea what's going on in a game. Occasionally people clap, so I do too. Then I go back to focusing on my picnic.
When I lived in New York I went to a Mets game and to a Yankees game. As I recall, the Mets were having a good season and the Yankees weren't. I understand this isn't usually the case. I didn't feel informed enough to need to support a team. Again, I was there for the hot dogs and the sunshine.
The Start-To-Finish Guide for Moving to a New Place
That's fantastic. I'm bookmarking it for August. Thanks, tommyrot!
Wishing you better pain management, sj. I hope the antidepressants help you cope a bit better, at least. Bad pain management really sucks.
