Yipes, Sox! Glad Sears was having a sale.
Thanks Sail. Not money we wanted to spend, sale or no, but since we don't know how old the stove is exactly (I have a guess) or how many times the various bits have been replaced (also suspicions here), and spent enough time last night getting rid of a really nasty gas-induced headache to truly hate gas all over again (though cooking with it is nice), we figured that since we could get one of the stoves that's being sold to make room for the new fall line (yay product turnover) and it's been reviewed fairly well, we should do it. Sounds like it can be here tomorrow, which is also good. Still. meh.
BT I hope you and Wallybee are feeling better today.
Hil, I am drooling over what that apartment must look like - here's to a fantastic new year for you!
Hil, I'm so glad for you!
bt, feel better soon.
Seska, uggh. Much ~ma to you.
Things I've discovered that I really would rather not have known:
1. You can have an adverse reaction to multivitamins.
2. You can sneeze 'til you puke.
Toddson, I hope you feel better quickly.
(((Toddson))) Feel better.
I survived beautifully today until I was packing up my stuff and G decided I was sitting on HIS couch so he kicked me hard in the small of my back. I'm ok, but omg did it hurt.
Thanks for the good wishes - I am feeling better! but I thought the board deserved to get a chuckle (and maybe some help avoiding my problems) from it.
Yay Hil !
Sorry BT and at least over all it was better sj.
Some things aren't worth learning sj.
and why has my cat decided that he should play with cherries, apricots and nectarines. Somethings are not cute.
I'm headed to the wake for the teenage girl who was in the accident I posted about last week. Her older sister is recovering. Send some -ma to her family oif you can.
So sorry, sj. And bt, health and coping to poor you and poor Wallybee!
I am alone in the house with ND's mother and caretaker. ND had to drive up to LA for a doctor's appointment, his sister disappeared last night with no instructions about caring for the pets or house and vague promises of checking back in before she and her husband leave for their trip this afternoon, and his neice is at work. Caretaker keeps acting vaguely condescending and asking me questions I have no answers to. Do not want. Hoping ND beats traffic and gets home early.
