Thanks, Cash! It is helpful to hear from another mom that it's not a totally wacky idea. I predict that he'll be into it for an hour or two (he likes to people watch, just like his Mama) and then we'll have to take him out, which is cool with me.
P-C, I'm not sure it'll happen as I don't know how baby will handle it until we get there. We're also planning on waaaaayyy scaling back our attendance due to having the little nipper along. I'm bummed to be missing the Spartacus panel this year!
He won't be in costume this year, but he does have a Batman t-shirt, a Star Wars onesie, and some Paul Frank gear that we'll be putting him in. Geek baby! It's so hot that I didn't feel right putting him in a costume. But it won't be long before he wants to! So exciting! I can't wait to see what kind of geek he'll be!
Of course, the costume selection is key, Glam.
Barring costumes, you couldn't go wrong with this.
Seattleistas, have any of you been to this tea festival. It sounds kind of interesting.
I keep meaning to go, and then my schedule goes wonky. I may try to make it this year.
Hil, I am so not surprised at that feedback. Huge congrats!
(Except for the fact that I misspelled "philosophy" on the first page in "doctor of philosophy.")
But I will admit this made me laugh and laugh.

Buying that would be logical.
I once got a communicator pin (ST:TNG) that, when you tapped it, made the correct beeping noise.
(and, since the unit price was less if you bought two, I got one for my sister ... and she told me she'd seen it on QVC but they'd sold out before she could get her order in)
