I hate to break it to you, oh impotent one, but you're not the big bad anymore, you're not even the kind of naughty.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congratulations, Hil! Sounds great.

Thanks, Sail, I'll look into that.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Congratulations, Hil!

Everyone else has been plenty wise about the logistics of moving -- though IIRC, a handful of Buffistas have managed to move to new places sight unseen; the trick for all of them was having someone local they trusted completely (usually but not always another Buffista) who could scout for them with a budget, wish list and dealbreaker list in hand.

But all of that is secondary to -- you got an offer you like, in a place you like! That is so completely awesome!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Congratulations, Hil! That's fantastic news.

Punishingly Intricate

I moved to SF sight unseen! I was very young.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We bought our current house sight unseen.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I can't imagine moving into a place without seeing it first. I'm so picky.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I really couldn't either. Turns out? Across the street from Trader Joe's is my happy place. Hidden by trees helps too.

Of course being picky hasn't kept me from ending up with crazy neighbors, but in my defense the crazy people did not live upstairs when we moved in.
