But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Congrats, Hil!! I wish you a low-stress move. Everyone here has good advice.

Punishingly Intricate

Congrats, Hil!

Don't know what PA rules are but here in MD it's much less hassle if you buy a car in state if you're planning to live with it here.

I would put the word out big time to friends "I am moving to City, PA. Who knows about it or knows people who know about it who can give me advice about places to live, etc."

Good luck!

I'm a bad Buffista for not remembering where you are right now, Hil, but keep in mind that Pennsylvania can have severe winters. Keep that in mind when thinking about transport and clothing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Use a moving company.

Absolutely worth the money! We moved here from Columbus in less than a month.

Congrats, Hil!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Hil, one piece of advice - if you're on an upper floor, make sure the building has more than one elevator.

And congratulations!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm in DC now, and I grew up in NJ. I'm used to winter.

I'm used to winter.

I would certainly say so.

The potential job in Georgia threw me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh that's fantastic news, Hil, congratulations! And good luck with all the new!

Thanks for all the ~ma, guys, everything worked out the best possible ways. Relieved and happy, and I attribute a lot of the result to the positive energy of Buffista~ma, no lie.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Congrats, Hil! You give me hope!

On the same topic, after my hopes were dashed last week, I have decided to abandon the whole "graphic artist" facade and am now looking for Office help/Receptionist work. I have applied for three positions at the community college and hope I can get one.

I wouldn't mind doing office work if it is for a worthy cause. So, if I can find one at a school, community service org, or an arts org that would be fine by me. The work would have meaning and it's something I can do without too much new training.

So, I need to practice my typing and teach myself Power Point, etc. Fingers crossed!
