It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I finished "Summerland" and the Sookie Stackhouse book I ordered through Interlibrary loan hasn't come in yet so I have to decide what to read next. Hmm I wonder if they have that book about the roots of human sexuality that Dan Savage recommended.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Grumble grumble. Grrr.

Things I wanted to do today:

  • Laundry
  • move more boxes into storage in garage
  • more unpacking
  • hang pictures

Things that can't do because elevator is broken again:

  • Laundry (on different floor than my apartment)
  • move boxes down into the garage
  • move stuff around easily because big boxes aren't in storage
  • hang pictures because things are in the way that would have been moved around or put in storage

I can do about 15% of what I was hoping to do today. I've called the property management service hotline. Waiting for a return call. Not very hopeful that an elevator tech will be sent out on a Saturday.

Grrrrrr. I hate it when plans get derailed. Sure there is plenty I can still do, but the whole order of operations is skewed, and the additional clutter fogs the brain as what to do with the organizing the stuff that is staying. Humbug I say.

fresh air.

Well, I managed to get the genie back in the bottle, and by that I mean, the BIG box that I bought to transport the flat screen TV is back in it's mildly big box. And if it fits in the storage unit, I'll keep it for the next move, since it's $100 box. But that will have to wait until the elevator is working.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I have repurposed the casing of an old iMac as a catbed.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Very cool, Daniel.

I'm waiting for groceries to be delivered. Waiting is boring.

I've got another phone interview tomorrow. Maybe this one will actually lead to something.
