Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
it's not the new cilantro? Whew. Then there will be no debate.
It was good chicken, but the spicy chicken sandwich didn't come with mayo, just a pickle! Huh?
Welcome to the South. Even if it's just the metaphorical South.
Beth, Northern Exposure is the first show I was ever a fangirl geek about. I took Maggie's picture into my stylist and everything.
Ha! Me too. I had the Maggie haircut for a while. It`s funny how it`s such an issue in the show, how her mom thinks it`s too "mannish" and all that, and today that`s a really mild, feminine cut.
I've kind of gone back to the O'Connell cut, actually, but you're right. Although there are family members that still give me crap about it, but not as much as they used to.
Mayo is nasty, vile stuff.
You just haven't had GOOD mayo.
Nora, I asked in Natter, too, but Perkins emailed to say she needs your new address.
My favorite restaurant fried chicken is White Fence Farm, an icon in the south suburbs of Chicago (North Riverside is their furthest north location since they want to keep their daily deliveries from Joliet to a reasonable length). The BEST chicken ever, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, with the BEST side ever, piping hot corn fritters that are delish (but only if eaten hot). If you go to their original restaurant, the little bowls of fritters are complimentary and are continually refilled throughout your meal. Yumm!
