Sean, I'm so sorry to hear that my city did not treat you well. For what it's worth, I know *very* few Londoners who are anti-American (we mostly think your country is exciting and appealing, like I do). I think you just ran into our generally very brusque attitude. Especially if you were travelling.
Yeah, between Heathrow and the tube, I'm not all that surprised. Heathrow workers have to deal with a billion people a day, all of whom are tired and cranky and just got off or are about to get on a plane.
And the tube? Yeah, I can see that just being what it's like on the tube.
You ALL have to come to London. And have a drink with me while you're at it.
I *really* wish I had more than today, Seska. I would love to meet you, but that's just not gonna happen this time. We're about to head out, and I'll be out of touch for the rest of the day.
But I'll be back, and for longer, and if you're not in London, well I'll just have to include a trip to wherever to make it happen.

Aww. Cool. (I fully expect to be coming back to London a LOT. This is my city. And Nottingham's only two hours away.) Here's hoping you have a better day today, Sean! Find scones. They will definitely help.
P-C, that is awesome! I wish you much luck!!!
Hi Sean! I'm waving in your general direction from like a mile over!
I will thirty-fourth the British Museum rec, but if you want somewhere smaller but awesome, the John Soane's museum is supposed to be amazing (I haven't been). [link]
Also, I live in London and have yet to go to the V and A. And because I work for a museum I get into all the not-free exhibits for free, and I still haven't gone. I'm such a terrible person.

Aw, you too, Jars!!!! REALLY wish I had more than today. Okay, really heading out now.
A brief stop back at the flat to say --
I think I have screwed myself a little with my wardrobe and taste in clothes. My wardrobe is generally all black, because of the whole working in theatre thing, plus I was wearing my beat up black leather blazer.
I swear everybody on the street thinks I'm a gangster.
Well, and maybe that too would go
over better in italy, Sean!
I'm annoyed to be awake. Got hotel room. Was huge suite. Hung out in living room area for several hours. Went to bed. Woke up very warm. Futzed with air conditioning. Woke up boiling. Looked at A/C again, walked over to unit--I had set it right but it was only blowing HOT air. Oy. Can't sleep when room is over 80 degrees and unlikely to cool down even after turning hot air off so call front desk (who says "what do you want ME to do?" and i'm like well I'm not just calling to bitch! Gimme a new room? Thankfully they quickly came up and handede a key to the room next door). But now I'm kind of awake. More so, I suspect, than I'll be when my alarm goes off in a few hours.
Sean, Seska is right head to Fortnum and Mason for tea, either that or the Savoy. Both are spendy, but worth it.
That is, if the Savoy has re-opened yet.
Hello Buffistas. I have missed you all. We are now settled in our new house. It's awesome! I really love living in my own place
Joes sisters are here and the rest of the family comes today. I am mostly very excited they are here.
I'm looking at the Statue of Liberty from my balcony on a beautiful day. This is nice.
