That might be a way to collect the good stuff, but ideally, we'd need an index so a person could easily find topics. For instance, I don't have a dog, so a lot of times I breeze right on by bonny's good dog advice. But someday I may have the time and energy that would be good for having a dog, so I'd want to refer back to what she has said.

It's The Girl's birthday and I'm taking her out to breakfast. Then I'm off to Derby for a conference run by the 'Society, Religion and Belief' research group that I'm about to join. Sessions have such titles as 'Androgynous Adam - Feminist Midrash meets Genesis Rabbah’. I am excited. Meanwhile, my London THATCamp session has received one 'vote' on the blog. I love Posey's semi-floppy ears. GSD have such soft fur on their ears, I'll be doing a lot of virtual ear-snorgling when she comes home to you.

This is the first morning in weeks that I've been able to actually work in my office, so you're jinxing has made me more productive!

If we host this on-site, we could do a quick-and-dirty "tag" system, where the topic in question was preceded by an exclamation point or something. For example, !cilantro or !muffaletta. That would make the thread-suck function more like an index.

The trick would be keeping the tags consistent, so that we don't have tags like "generic meds" running side by side with "generic prescriptions." Hmm...
