I think I'll do the Typo Boy suggested email route tomorrow. My boss is out of the office on Tuesdays (WFH) so I will have a reason to email instead of walking the 4 feet to her desk. I think I'll also discuss with Jon if it has to be 3 weeks. Like, maybe if I gave up Goa for my birthday (but I totally want to do Goa on my birthday!) if we could do 2 or 2 1/2 if my boss says 3 is unacceptable.

tallying this months time sheet (paid monthly sucks btw). Seems I've racked up 11.7 DAYS of comp time already. Not bad for 6 weeks on the job. I'll just hold on to that TYVM. Since I don't need to give tons of advance time or paperwork to take it, I'll save that for those slow days to leave early.

Sean, envy is not a strong enough word. While I haven't played AC2 yet (just the first one), I am in awe at your following the game. Very cool, in an ubber geeky way.
ND, I hope things pick up for you soon. Cabin fever sucks. It's not like you are stuck at home, where there are always chores to do. You are stuck in a cabin, literally! I second Pix suggestion, try your hand at Yoga or Tai Chi.
