And after a day and a half of rehearsals, the first boy. Seems only girls can be dancers.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I am somewhere in the North Atlantic. So far the cruise is going well, I'm just bored. Lots of things are behind so my show is queued up at the moment and I haven't been able to do any real work.
I'm going to pitch in and help train some of the tech on board since they've purchased a bunch of LS9 and M7CL consoles for the various theatres and those are desks that I know pretty well and can help out with.
Other than that, the sea is a little rough, but so far no icebergs.
Aww, wee dancers. When I was six or seven, my ballet class did a lion/lion tamer routine to the Imperial March. I was a lion.
ND, glad things are going somewhat smoothly and that you are able to be extra helpful.
Today we visited Vinci, and the museum of the Maestro.
Again, religious.
Cool. So jealous.
And is the food amazing?
Did you get any lovely glass in Venice? (Did you go to the island where they make it?)
Again, religious.
Yeah, I'm doing the mental equivalent of drooling here. The better time you have there, the more joy there is alongside the jealousy.
This high quality, well tuned sound system really shows the flaws of MP3's and m4a files. They may sound ok on computer speakers, but ick on the Meyer speakers.

One of my friends brought me back a beautiful Venetian glass wine-bottle stopper that I am too afraid to use for its intended purpose. I don't want it to break.
ION, I ordered and have received the Riona dress from Holy Clothing (in that color). I like it fairly well. The bodice is very fitted, because of the elastic in the back. It's not *tight*; just fitted, which I'm not used to, other than my occasional wearing of a corset. But I'm pretty pleased with it, so I'm keeping it. In fact, I may wear it today since we have a graduation party to go to and it's in the 90s. Sheesh.
Teppy, use it. It's part of my de-clutter and de-box plan to use all of the beautiful things that people have given me, or that I've brought back from trips. Use it, and enjoy it and savor it because you literally can't take it with you.
Sean, I am loving all of your posts and am so thrilled that you're on this adventure with your father. What a wonderful 40th birthday present he's given you.
New level of adorable. Father/Daughter dance. Nice to know I'm not the only one who can't dance.
