Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think this website is one of the only places I've ever seen "American" used this much as a selling point.

When you ladle out B&M Brick Oven Baked Beans, you’re dipping into real, authentic American food history! The B&M recipe is centuries old. B&M has been cooking up Brick Oven Baked Beans since 1867. Their beans are slow-baked in small batches in old-fashioned brick ovens and the beans are still hand-stirred for that rich, homemade American flavour.

Hamburger Helper has been a meal favorite for busy families since it was introduced more than three decades ago – providing an easy, delicious one-skillet solution to the question, “What’s for dinner?” Simply brown 1lb of minced beef, (Or any other meat), and then add milk, hot water, the sauce mix and uncooked pasta and simmer for approx 11 mins then remove from heat and allow to stand for a few minutes to thicken and then voila a delicious beef and Pasta Home cooked skillet meal, American style!

Made with 100% real Idaho Russet Potatoes for genuine American, Restaurant Style, Hash Brown Potatoes. Simply add water and butter and cook for 10 minutes and voila delicious American Hash Brown potatoes that Denny's would be proud of!

B&M Brick

That's a very unfortunate name for any food product.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

When my bro lived in Luxembourg, he made everyone who visited bring brownie mix. They had an ex-pat shop there, but it catered to Brits.

Now he's lived in the Netherlands long enough that he doesn't miss any USA-type food.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

don't judge, it was a gift

Hell, I stay at Sandals too. I do encourage people to try non-chain hotels, but I will definitely say we can do all inclusive and there's no shame in that too--as long as you don't mistake it for the island as a whole.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

She even recommended a Sandals type place to me! Which was actually exactly what I was looking for, so YAY

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm pretty sure you don't need brownie mix to make brownies, iff'n your brother still misses them a little bit.

Lying on the sand sipping unlimited cocktails and trying the occasional beach sport?

Life has been worse.

I aim to do it once a year.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. I love proper ramen and will eat it like I'm starving, complete with appropriately polite slurping noises. I also eat ten cent packages of college ramen, but I don't mistake one for the other.

Pretty much! Plus not having to worry about which restaurant to try, or how much extra cash to bring for meals, etc.

Still a shame about that voodoo thing though.

I've never had ramen. It was one of the "done things" at university I refused to do. I was a little pouty.
