Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think Riona is prettier, Steph.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too

Always Anti-fascist!

Technical issues here. Mom and I had a huge fight yesterday. My tech-phobia combined with my obsessive need to mind-fuck everything that bothers me led me to say ugly things. I feel bad, and the whole impairment thing means I can't say...I don't know, "I'll make dinner...you go relax." or anything. Not that that would be a treat...we have a real culinary non-legacy in our family. But I wish I could offer. Or I wish I could have stayed cute enough that drawing a picture would help.(Not that I got a picture to look like I wanted it to either, but when you're eight you're the only one who cares. Or at least I was.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

You can write, Erika. Maybe a short note about her many awesome qualities? I know my folks really treasure those kinds of things.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I dunno, you're pretty fuckin' cute...

I like the Riona dress, but I hate sleeveless things.

I like them both, Teppy, and that color is going to be super sugar on you!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

American "courtesy" drove me nuts after two weeks so much I understood I'll never going to be able to live there and keep my sanity

You think Americans are bad for that? Try living in Britain. I've lived here my whole life and don't notice the passive-aggressive, repressed, seething fake politeness crap one bit (as you can probably tell), but The Girl particularly hates it. She's always being accused of rudeness. Mostly by me. I think she's just going to stop talking entirely soon.

BTW, Shir, well done on reporting the incident. Sorry, that sounds patronising. But you know what I mean. Reporting can be difficult.

I'm totally with you on the thing where you wish you could just make dinner to apologize, erika.

Good luck to your nephew, DC Jensen!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

She's always being accused of rudeness.

Since I started working for the Beeb, every single performance review I've had has included a "personal development goal" of, essentially, "be less American when you talk to the UK office." Phrased in a professional diplomatic manner, of course, but that's always the essence!

How are Americans more rude? The overfamiliarity?
