I think they are more annoying than the "Thunder Sticks" at the Angels baseball game. And if both fans are blowing, how can you show you are cheering for your team? I guess I'm looking for logic in football.
ION- I think I left Dallas too soon. The Sound Designer that is working on "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman" at my old job, well, he just won the Tony Award for Best Sound Design. Hats off to you Robert Kaplowitz. Congrats.

ION- oven is still smoking. Dunno what it is. The smoke is a LOT less, and really fine. Doesn't seem to leave a taste on the cookies. But doesn't feel good breathing in. Oh, and I under baked the cookies. Shame. Guess I'll have to eat them all myself.
Also, just started watching Mad Men. Season 1. When the kids are playing spacemen, and the daughter is wearing a dry cleaning bag . And the mothers only reaction is I better not find my clean clothes on the floor . Hilarious! I think I'll keep watching. Although the misogyny makes my skin crawl.

At least now it's a fine smoke. Barely seen. But enough that the smoke detector went off for about 30 seconds. What ever it is, it seems to be burning off.

So it's nearly 3am and the shuttle to LAX arrives at 6:20. Guess how much sleep we're getting tonight? So much to do today that I just couldn't get everything done as efficiently as I wanted to (plus my ADD decided to make today especially trying), so...ah well. I will either sleep on the plane or crash hard tomorrow night and jump start my east coast sleep schedule.

but the smoke is barely noticeable now. The first time I cooked anything in the oven, it looked like a college dorm room playing Grateful Dead. Now, nsm. Just enough for the smoke detector to say, "um, dude!" But I turned the air on, and it was fine.
