Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I threw away my bathroom scale a year ago. Maybe a mistake? I just bought another scale and stepped on it. Holy adiposity, Batman! What have I done?

Time to go back on the low-carb diet, stat.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Shir, it occurred to me - if a behavior that provokes people (I'm assuming it has to be more than one person) to violence is legally forbidden, what would happen if women who were tripped went after the men standing around either causing it or permitting it? Would that apply? or - to be cynical - does it only apply when it provokes men to violence?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I don't begrudge them trying to make money

I certainly begrudge them trying to make money by jacking up fee structures and manipulating how they pass deposits through in order to maximize the amount they gain, with (until very recently, anyway) no recourse or opt-out -- there's nothing at all wrong with banks making money the way they were set up to do it, by reinvesting the money that's entrusted to them in fairly safe and transparent ways.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just found an automatic renewal for Bicycling Magazine that got taken out of our account. *sigh* I have no idea when I subscribed but now I have to track it down and cancel it. Feh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I hate automatic renewals. They always mess me up.

Can someone write me a note getting me out of my social obligations this weekend? My knees are throbbing and I think I am coming down with a cold.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Toddson - I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I didn't follow your thought. Could you maybe go use dumb talk Wikipedia Simple-English style to explain this?

Also, yes, banks are irrational and only excellent in taking money away from people. I still keep a fantasy of living modern life without a bank account. That's the only way I'll know what happens to my money.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Shir, you are amazing. I hope out of your hollaback site, a way opens up to combat this with more than words (but less than violence in return) - one that won't be more restrictive to women's freedom in Israel.

Shir, I meant to say that I think this is a wonderful thing you're doing.
