It's way beyond that. Mom can't walk and is pretty much confined to a wheelchair or bed. She's up over 200 pounds in weight so we have a lift to be able to move her from bed to her wheelchair and from her wheelchair to her chair in the living room. Part of the issue is that he bladder doesn't drain completely and she can't get to the bathroom, so she has assistance to change her diaper. All around a lot of things to keep on top of.

Sorry not to respond to anyone other than Shir. It's been a helluva day (I have wine now so it's getting better). Vendor won't budge on a £3000 reduction on our asking price due to the place being a mess, including needing electrical work and building work. We went to Derby and back for a meeting with disabled students' services that made me cry (I have to learn not to do that - it doesn't scream 'professional'). And I've just realised (rather late to my own party, me) that I'm having a 'low' month or two. And I refuse to go to the doctor because I hate that medication treadmill. So I'm going to ride it out. Take THAT, depression, you wanking buggery bastard. Yes.
