I am splitting a CSA membership with thessally for the summer, and we picked up our first week's of produce today. There is so much stuff, even with splitting a share. I am hoping that this is going to force me to eat more fruits and veg and get a little healthier, maybe even lose some weight.
I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

One of the students here at new job is like that. He is on thin ice with the head of the program. He's also in his 30's, so I'm wondering if he's too old to teach new tricks to.
My sister is 37. She's on thin ice with Life. I wonder the same thing.
I find saying something along the lines of "You can't control circumstances or other people, you can only control your own actions. What can you do to get to where you want to be?" helps. Make it about the future and frame the issue as something they control.
