Dawn: I feel safe with you. Spike: Take that back!

'First Date'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Our wings are not tired.

I am shedding tears of my own for Zoe. I am wretchedly sorry, PixDesigns.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Dear Universe, please stop kicking people when they're already down.

I truly can't believe the news about Zoe is true, but i also know it couldn't possibly be a joke. My heart goes out to Pasadena. I may not be a dog person but even i recognized her as a truly wonderful dog, beloved by her peeps.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh god you guys, I can't even tell you how sorry I am.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Oh Pix and ND. I have a glimmering of how much you loved her. Enough, universe.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm so sorry Pix and Drew. I wish you guys would get some good news this year.

The status is NOT quo.

x-posted with Natter:

Thanks, everyone. It's a hard night for us both. We loved her a lot, and it was very sudden. We are grateful she had a long, happy life and very grateful this happened before we leave next Monday. It's still heartbreaking, of course.

During the chaos of rushing to the vet, our three-legged senior cat Byron got out. He needs to come home now so we can go to sleep and stop worrying.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Byron! You go home RIGHT NOW. Because your people have had to deal with MORE than enough stress, and you need to be home looking after them.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Guys, I'm so sorry. Zoe was a lovely dog.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Thoughts for Pix and Drew. Home~ma for Byron.

convert the dance to one that can be done on the sofa

Hil, my friend has a Wii and the 'Just Dance' program for it. It can be done sitting down (neither of us can standing-dance) and it's very energetic, stress-relieving and good fun. I recommend, if you have a Wii. If not, there may be something similar for the PC.
