[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I am messing around with my first week's lecture/assignments. And I think I will do some laundry -- I am commando -- and change the cat box.

One of the cats laid a Stank Egg and didn't cover, and changing day is tomorrow anyway.

Our wings are not tired.

Not entirely unrelatedly, the editorial assistant position I applied for last June was just posted on the uni website--I have no idea if the person who got it flaked or got a better offer or what, but I just applied, again.

Oh I hope this works out!! That sounds like a great fit for you.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, flea and omnis. I'll check them out.

Nora, I'm sorry the nun thing didn't work out.

I hope one of your competitors finds the perfect job elsewhere, Hil.

I now have a bunch of hole saws, since the one I needed was $6, but there was a package of five different sizes for $15. It is this type of high finance that keeps me the pauper that I am. That and the fact that, despite trying desperately to resist, I was forced to buy a huge four-gallon rosemary bush on sale for $10. (Do you want one, flea? I could go back tomorrow and we could actually manage to get together.)

I love rosemary and use it so much that the three rosemary plants I have are almost bare. It is used as the shrub in some local parking lots though; would it be disgusting to go pick some off, wash it and use it?

And speaking of disgusting; my boyfriend's sense of humor: [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Book rec for people wanting to get their offices organized: How to Get Organized Without Resorting to Arson, by Liz Franklin. I got a lot of really good ideas, and more importantly, perspective out of that book.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

There was ornamental rosemary at the vacation rental I stayed at with friends this spring. We trimmed some to season shish kebabs and it was wonderful. I have heard that it's not a good idea to eat plants that grow in places with a lot of traffic.

Excellent words to live by, in general.

I have two small rosemary plants, but these are ginormous and are supposed to be relatively cold hardy. The more established a plant is, the more chance it has of surviving in zone 7b.
