Pix, do you have a heating pad you can use?
I do, yes, thanks for reminding me. The doctor recommended heat over cold to keep the muscle loose.
Ginger, I'm already taking 600 mg of ibuprofen on top of the muscle relaxers and tylenol with codeine. I could take one more regular advil but am trying to avoid it. The annoying thing is that I can't focus well enough to grade when I'm on the pain meds, but I can't focus well enough to grade without the meds because of the pain. Ah well. My grades aren't due until Monday at 4.
Hil, job~ma for you! Jilli, feel-better-~ma for you! Poor sick gothy girl.

What amych said. I hate seeing you two go through so much bullshit.
I hope you hear soon, Hil.
So much for early to bed. Talked to B for two hours on a ridic number of topics. I really like the friendship we're building but I can't help but curse geography. Why does this country have to be so big, exactly? It's really inconvenient. It keeps me from seeing you people enough, for one.
Feel better Pix, and healing thoughts for ND's mom
I, like Jilli, am sick. Low grade fever, achy joints and muscles, scratchy throat.
Hates it.
Can't sleep. I'm hungry and my ankle hurts and I didn't have dinner because I wasn't hungry then, but now I am hungry and have no food options. I think I might have a granola bar.
Oh hell. Can you get delivery?
I'm so not qualified to be a grown-up yet. Shouldn't I have learned by now that, after being away for a week, the kitchen will be empty and I have to go grocery shopping?
I found a few frozen soy meatballs. Also a can of beans and some frozen vegetables. It's something.
Actually pretty balanced. The soy meatballs are a complete protein (probably with some carbs). Since there is nothing to make the protein in the beans complete, they are more carbs which you need if you have not eaten all day. And then the frozen veggies are veggies. So a healthy dinner for what it is worth. OK you knew this, but I thought some reassurance might be welcome.
I just made the world's sorriest version of the red beans part of red beans and rice. Can of red beans, rinsed and put into a bowl with a little water. Onion powder, garlic powder, celery seed, thyme, oregano, chili powder. Microwaved for two minutes. Few dashes of hot sauce.
So now I'm just in pain and not hungry anymore. Sorta balanced meal, too, though I skipped the veggies. Still can't sleep.
I wish I could rid you of the pain. Or even had medical knowledge to share.
