I'd forgotten about the Colin Firth obsession in Bridget Jones. The characters spend a lot of time swooning over Colin Firth, and usually watch the scene in Pride and Prejudice where he jumps in the lake and then has the wet shirt clinging to him whenever they need to be cheered up. And then when Bridget meets Mark, her first thought is that he looks just like Colin Firth. And in the movie, they cast Colin Firth as Mark.

Speaking of being the last to read/watch something, I reached the bottom of the DVR and am watching the SNL with Betty White. So far, she's been a mother twice, a grandmother twice, and an old lady twice. And a baker for the muffin joke. Total waste of a host. SNL, never fails to disappoint.
On a brighter note, I made a yummy frittata for dinner and followed it with mango sorbet topped with serviceberries from a tree in my parents's yard. Nom.
