Ants totally suck. I hope you can get some relief from them soon. And a good, final solution for both the critters and the plumbing.
I finally got a decent night's sleep. Not at the precise hours I should have slept, but I'm willing to take each battle in this war as they come.
If someone says "you guys are better off without me" should I be worried she's suicidal? I checked a suicide prevention website and didn't recognize any of the other signs.
Yikes Laga, don't know. But keep an eye on her.
Slept like a rock last night. And my back feels like I slept ON one. Considering how my legs feel, I'm chalking it up to standing 5 hours on cement for last nights event.
Wish I knew about that orange thing for ants in Dallas. There was always a little column from the front door to the sink drain. Kinda cute, in an annoying kind of way. But not a problem anymore. I'm on 3rd floor, and not in Dallas!
OK, gotta get my butt in gear. Driving out to Riverside to pick up a box that my movers dropped off at the wrong location. Then, GAME NIGHT! Woot!
omnis I hope you feel better as the day goes on. I never see this person so I forwarded the suicide prevention website to the person who mentioned the comment.
Also, we need to contact a plumber, because the pipes for the kitchen sink and the dishwasher were done by an enthusiastic amateur, and have been having problems.
NO! MORE! FULL! COPPER! REPIPE!
Ants suck. But we have those things you hate that I can't name, Jilli.
I am getting ready to go BBQ. And pomtini. YAY.

Oh, we have those, too. The other week, I had my cutting board and fabric spread out on the living room floor, I'm kneeling there with scissors in hand, and from behind me I hear Pete say "Er, Jilli. Don't move."
I of course levitate straight up. Why yes, a wolf spider was about 4" from my feet. Pete dealt with it. I twitched a lot.
I went for a walk yesterday and the whole neighborhood smelled like BBQ. yummy.
May there be rest and relaxation from pests and other household issues for the House of Reason.
Laga, I think that was a sound strategy, sending that website to the person making the iff-y comments. She's lucky that there is someone noticing.
Anyone want a McCall's Needlework and Crafts from 1971? And a couple other knitting pattern books from the same era? They're good for a laugh, if nothing else. (My god. What were we thinking?)
Zenkitty- I would love them. My grandmother threw all of ours from that time out when she was mad at my mom!
