Why couldn't you be dealing drugs like normal people?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Dogs eat whole apples?

Oh my yes. My guy will do anything for an apple.

The Hagrid photos aren't mine to post, but imagine a blissful "Oh, the ambrosial bouquet...it makes all of life make instant and contented sense" kind of look on a sweet doggy's face. He apparently carried the most cherished gift around for 15 minutes before giving in to his baser instincts and eating it.

D looks a little stunned...neither he, nor his wife, has ever had a dog before...and he'd just driven 4 days to collect Hagrid. But they are doing every thing right. It's a joy to see.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Heh. "Comfort me with apples..." indeed.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, bonny, that is just wonderful.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Beloved Hagrid, the dog I adore who was a saved by the grace of Facebook, has been handed off to his new people. My good friend S, drove Hagrid to Cheyenne, where his Minneapolis 'Dad' picked him up yesterday.

This is making me happy. I'm so glad for Hagrid, and for the new doggy parents. Sounds like a match made, if not in heaven, at least in cyberspace.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, lucky Hagrid! New people who really want him and bring him apples!

The status is NOT quo.

-t, I've said so elsewhere, but please know we are all thinking about you and will do anything we can for you.

I'm so happy to hear about Hagrid! Also very happy that Sean enjoyed his birthday party.

I just got back from the farmers' market with megan walker (awesome) and now have the makings for fresh grilled veggie skewers, grilled salmon with dill, and a fresh roasted beet salad. Dinner will be yum.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Pix, we went to the farmer's market today too. Potatoes, carrots, a rosemary plant, rhubarb chutney, strawberries, and chocolate covered sea salt caramels.

-t, I've said this elsewhere, but you are in my thoughts. I am so, so sorry.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

You're in my thoughts today as well, -t.

(A separate post, just because.)

House of Reason is having kind of a craptastic weekend. We found a new batch of ants invading the kitchen last night. Moving the dishwasher = not fun. We left a message with the pest control people, but hey, it's a three-day weekend. Argh. Also, we need to contact a plumber, because the pipes for the kitchen sink and the dishwasher were done by an enthusiastic amateur, and have been having problems. To top it all off, Pete had the worst night's sleep he's ever had, after a week of bad sleep, and I need to write 4K words of fiction today.

I would like a do-over now.
