'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can hardly watch anything else with Imelda Staunton in it. Umbridge was a brilliant villian. She was just so horrible and the fact that she thought everything she did was right and just made her even worse.

Truly it was a great performance. I think she's actually an improvement on the character as written. But so loathsome.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The other character who's better on film than on the page is Luna, by Evanna Lynch.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

{{{{Sean}}}} It sucks that drugs like prozac can take up to a month to feel the effects, and sometimes make things seem even worse in the meantime. I wholeheartedly recommend calling the therapist ASAP, i recall a time when i was given a faster-acting mood enhancer to help the transition time for the longer-acting meds to kick in because the transition just made me way too unstable.

Heck, it took almost 3 weeks for the prozac to start working for my *cat* and he is but 10 pounds.

keep that towel and phone handy in the interim, 'kay?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

One of my all-time favorite fanfics is Desk Duty, in which Madame Pince, the librarian, gets the better of Umbridge in a delightfully librarian way. Also, love all the librarian touches (weeding, storage, the Patriot Act...)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Towels for everybody!

Oooh, Harry Potter gossip: Bonnie Wright (Ginny) is engaged to marry Jamie Campbell Bower the actor who will play the young Grindlewald.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

"There are SO MANY GAMES to this finger, and I've never heard them before."

Oh, my LOL!

And travel~ma to SLNRLBF. And continued {{{}}} and ~ma to Sean and Fred Pete's kitties, himself and Hub.

ION: paracetamol, you're my only friend. I do need to squeeze in more sleep to my schedule. Lately, when I'm ready to go to bed, I'm getting into "but I really need to listen to some songs NOW, it's the perfect mood" thing. Not the brightest decision ever, but it's music. Can't say no.

This is, of course, probably related to my mood, but these days I pretty much loathe all TV commercials with the blazing heat of a thousand suns. Some of them make me want to go all super-villain on the whole world.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

All of this talk of Umbridge made me decide to put Order of the Phoneix on as my background movie tonight. Luna is the best character in the whole movie.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Not just you, Sean. They are generally annoying as fuck on a good day.

\\o/ Just for fun.

Loving Matilda, as usual.

Had a great evening with dance peeps, got rid of a bunch more stuff, a couple insisted on paying me and one is trading me a massage which is AWESOME. I love getting rid of shit. Which reminds me, I have stuff to mail.

Also, I'm going to help install flooring in trade for a friend helping me do my damn resume and cover letter this weekend.

Seriously, I get by with a LOT of help from my friends.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yeah, really commercials should only make you want to take a baseball bat to your tv.
