that wound is making some real progress in healing
I'm really glad to hear this!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good news re Fay and Daniel.
sj, I thought I was the only Pearls Before Swine fan.
As for our cats -- not a good weekend. Max seems to be finally getting over the anesthesia from the scans last week, and he has to go through more tests on Wednesday. The scans show -- something inflammatory is doing a number on his lungs. We need to figure out what it is before we can treat it. So he gets the lung wash on Wednesday. He also has a mass in his nose that is very likely cancer. A biopsy is needed to find out what kind of cancer it is to figure out how to treat it. But Max is in rough enough shape as it is -- there will be real risks just going through the lung wash, and he's in no shape for cancer treatments. (Luckily, if I can say that in this situation, nasal cancer tends to grow slowly.)
To complicate matters, last night I accidentally gave Marie the appetite stimulant that had been prescribed for Max (mitrazapine). The mitrazapine reacted with the Reconcile (Prozac) that she's been on, and she was high as a kite. As in, Hubs took her to the emergency room. (He's the one who saw her behavior and decided to act.) Marie is resting comfortably at the hospital, Hubs stayed home to sleep in, and I'm at work full of gronk.
Fred, Elisabeth from the DB was asking about you, she sends her love. I told her that you guys were having a hard time with the kitties.
Thanks, Vortex. Still trying to get back in.
Lady, step away from the pseudo-History Channel. It is Bad and Misleading (as in, about 65% accurate, but uses the same Hollywood narrative to tell every story. exactly. the. same).
You know, as I was watching last night I though to myself I should probably take this with just as large a grain of salt as I do "Ancient Aliens" but then "America: the Story of Us" comes on and I am glued to the screen.
{{{Fred Pete, Hub and kitties}}} I'm sorry you have to go through all of this.
I'm glad to know, however, that Daniel's wound is doing better.
Much ~ma for the feline contingent of your household, FredPete.
Kitty~ma, FredPete.
I've only caught a little of it, but America: the Story of Us strikes me as elementary school US history given the big budget treatment. For that reason, I've been utterly uninterested in it.
I am so tired of being in Orlando.
