It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Aww - cheers for the congrats!

I'd ask you to hug it out, but I don't do that with married ladies anymore.

I'm only engaged. Feel free. :D

That's what? Two weeks work?

Funny, funny, funny.

My adrenaline levels are insane. The dissertation was due at 4pm, and I was still sorting out formatting issues at 3.57*. Gaaaah. I watched some Sarah Jane Adventures and now feel just about human enough for going to the pub with The Girl.

*Thank God and all Her angels for my uni's system of electronic submission of work.

{{{Seska}}}All over that like Dana Gordon in Cancun in '92. I know it's not a spike quote, but I'd love a thread called "Little Bitches Hug It Out," Although that's kind of a Bureau vibe anyways, all that hostility covered up by a smile.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So part of our time at Joe's Grandmother's house this weekend was spent taking stuff since they are trying to sell Gramma's house. We were given free reign of the books. I found this among the piles: [link]

I have no idea what to do with it. I don't really want to keep it (although part of me wants to as a "See this?? This is BAD." lesson), that's for damn sure, maybe donate it to the Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State? Any suggestions?

My dad would try to get the $180. This might be why we don't talk much. Because he has people come to his store to buy Klan Krap all the time. And I asked him once "Doesn't that ever, you know, creep you out?"

And he was all "No! Why?"
Meanwhile I gave myself more brain-damage*headdesk*

Thank goodness for computers! I seem to have fixed my fuck up with only have to talk to people a little bit. Now, I just have to wait for people to confirm that everything is fixed. Until then, I am stuck in the house.

I would suggest donating it. while unpleasant, it's still part of history. I think that we should not whitewash (heh) embarassing or unpleasant historical facts, because then people can't learn from others' mistakes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

One of my co-workers just got laid off as part of "organizational restructuring" following an acquisition. I'm really sad. She was here longer than I was, and the timing is awful: she just got back from a three-month medical leave a couple weeks ago. In a way, her LOA was retroactively practice for working without her, but we were all so happy to have her back. I didn't even get to say goodbye; I got here just as my bosses were coming back up after taking her stuff down.

I kept putting off writing a LinkedIn recommendation for her. Guess I really need to get on that now.
