Ouhh! Snacks! The secret to any successful migration! Who's up for some tasty fried meat products!?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations on the new house, Seska! I like the long back yard and the wood floors in the living room.

Congratulations, Seska!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Very cool house, Seska.

There's work I need to do today. But I'm tired and achy and mostly just want to stay home, where I don't have the notes I need to do my work. I'll try TENS on my ankle to see if that helps.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations, Seska!!!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Love how large the back yard is, Seska! Lots of room for patio furniture or a garden.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Thanks, all! We're very excited.

Lots of room for patio furniture or a garden.

Yep yep! We have plans for an extension. Maybe to create one of those ubiquitous middle-class British rooms: a conservatory.

Good luck with the rest of the process and move-in!

Thanks! We're hoping to have the keys by the end of June or early July. There's decorating to be done and I'm keen to get it sorted before I start the PhD in September.

Wishing you less pain, Hil. (I empathise. I climbed a couple of flights of stairs yesterday while viewing houses. It was a mistake.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Feel better, Hil.

Seska, I like that house. Good luck with the TARDIS.

Sassafras is one sassy dog.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

People we are talking about PEANUT BUTTER and CHOCOLATE here!! How is that not a magical combination of tastes that can do no wrong???

I firmly support Jessica in this statement.

Peanut butter goes with many lovely things, including but not limited to:

Bread (including toast)
crackers
pretzels
celery
chocolate
bananas
jelly, jam, preserves, etc.
honey
milk
a spoon
